Writing these important letters is a therapy
Writing these important letters, I remember what’s inside of me
While I’m waiting
I’m writing about the visions that you didn’t get to see
I describe my eyes and everything in their sight
I attach it to a hummingbird while he remains in flight
He agrees
He’ll be my messenger in the middle of your night
While you’re sleeping
He will lend his colors to these letters black and white
And when you wake
You’ll remember dreams as my eyes could fully see
And in your morning mirror
I give you my eyes to gaze so lovingly
While you have them
My sight is full of times that you looked upon me
Through a prism, the light is separated
When we closely view it
We see it’s full, in the spectrum of the isolated
