This haiku follows the 5–7–5 form and nods to Zhuangzi’s butterfly dream, in which the boundary between dreamer and dreamed cannot be finally settled. Here, the butterfly alights on a morning glory and briefly gives the dream a body. The title is intentionally playful: the verse is light, the butterfly alights, and reality is kissed rather than explained.
