safe at bay
the water-sky oneness
embodies
such generosity

dream vessels
float in fathomless
expressions

sidereal messages
reveal
nothing submerged
nothing stagnant

Post Script

The poem returns to an image that appeared in my first published poem, Tree of knowledge, through a passage from Bertrand Russell comparing the rational mind to a stormy ocean, with a few small vessels carrying scientifically tested beliefs.

Here, those vessels float within the generosity of a water-sky that cannot be exhausted. Galileo’s sidereal messages reveal a universe in motion, but the fathomless remains fathomless. Seeing more neither submerges mystery nor leaves understanding stagnant.
